Eligibility Verification—Proof that you have met the vendor requirements to purchase the product. In this case, this process involves submitting proof that you are indeed an education customer such as a student, teacher, faculty, or staff. Different vendors have different eligibility requirements and the identit-E.com system will inform you of these requirements during the verification process.

Product Code— A unique code that is identified on or inside of the product. This code is used as proof of purchase and a product identifier and will allow you to successfully retrieve, after eligibility verification has been approved, the Activation Code needed to install your product.

Activation Code—The activation code is a unique code which will be used by the purchaser to unlock or install the purchased product. The activation code(s) will be issued to you after your eligibility verification has been successfully processed.

| Quick Tips for Completing the Eligibility Verification Process |

Identify yourself and the product purchased. When providing information to us via email or fax, always identify your full name, your email address, the product purchased and the product code on all correspondence. Our goal is to complete the verification process as quickly as possible and the above information will help expedite the eligibility verification process.

When uploading your documents. Our system has the ability to accept many types of files during the upload process. When completing this process keep in mind that the image file size determines how long the upload process takes to complete. Please keep your file sizes small (maximum 400 pixels wide) and less than 1 Mb. The larger the image file the longer the process takes. Ideally, the picture size wouldn’t be any bigger than the ID itself. The system accepts the following file formats: bmp, doc, gif, jpeg, jpg, pdf, png, tiff, tif.

Fax submissions. We encourage you to send your information to us via the upload process or with a valid education email address as these verification methods are much more time effective than verification by fax. If your circumstances require verification by fax, please print your full name, product purchased, product code and email address clearly and legibly on the fax document. If we can't read your information, we will be unable to process the fax and the eligibility verification process will take longer.

Verification turn-around time. If it has been more than 2 business days since you submitted your ID, please email custserv@identit-E.com. Your questions will be answered as quickly as possible, within two business days. We appreciate your patience, especially during the start of the academic season.

Product returns. This website does not facilitate returns of your product. Please contact the publisher or reseller directly.

| FAQ |

How does the verification process work? You are being asked to provide proof that you are eligible for the academic discount. A card has been inserted into your box with information about the documents required to prove eligibility and how to get that information to us. You will send us documentation to show eligibility via an upload, e-mail or fax. Once we have received your information and verified eligibility for the academic discount, we will send you an activation code. You will be required to enter this activation code during the software installation process.

Why do I have to be verified? You have purchased a software product with an educational discount. Before you are able to install the software you will need to show that you are eligible to receive the academic discount under the software manufacturer's standards.

How long does the process take? We are usually able to verify eligibility for the discount within two business days, if all information is provided legibly and in a timely manner.

Can my request be placed on hold? If the form is incomplete or confirmation of educational status is not submitted or insufficient, we will place your educational verification on hold. You will receive an e-mail within two business days informing you of this action and providing further details about how to validate your request.

What happens if I am not verified? Please contact the software publisher and/or place of purchase regarding their return policy.

What are acceptable forms of ID? The best form of proof is either a valid education email address or a student or faculty ID card issued from a valid educational institution that includes a date showing current enrollment or employment. If you do not have a student/employee ID from a school with a date stamp, please refer to the card that came with your software for more detailed information regarding the software manufacturer's guidelines for proof of eligibility.

What is an educational email address? Most educational institutions offer their students and staff email addresses while they are a student or an employee. This email address usually has the institution's unique suffix (i.e., Student@tcm-university.edu or student@st-andrews.ac.uk)

What if I lost my activation code? If you have lost your code, please check your email systems's archive. If you are still not able to find our message, please e-mail us a message explaining the situation, and we will follow up quickly.

What if I don’t receive the activation via email? Occasionally messages will go into a particular email system's "spam filter". Please check any junk mail in-boxes you may have before contacting us. If it has been more than two business days, and you have not received information from us regarding your academic eligibility, please send an email to custserv@identit-E.com inquiring about the delay.

How do I check on the status of my verification? If you have not received information regarding your eligibility within two business days, please send an email to custserv@identit-E.com inquiring about the status of your verification.

Do you keep my materials on file for future authorizations? We will keep an archive that includes the verification materials you have sent. However, it is important to remember that due to the changeable nature of academia, new verification materials may be required each semester or quarter. We will contact you via email if there is a pending eligibility request and the materials we have on file are not up to date.

What if the system indicates my Product Code is invalid? Verify the product code is entered correctly. It is not uncommon to mistake letters and numbers. For Example: The capital letter "O" can be mistaken for the number 0 or the number 1 may be mistaken for the letter "I".

Product Codes are assigned by the vendor. If you have verified that your product code is entered correctly and the system indicates that it is invalid, you should contact the product vendor to resolve the issue.
